A week ago, a single-lot auction was held in Paris. During it, the guests had a chance to compete for the dinosaur skeleton found in 2013 by a group of archaeologists. During the excavation in Wyoming, the team was astounded when they found this dinosaur skeleton, because its species could not be identified from its appearance. The skeleton is almost 8.7 meters long and 2.6 meters high. So far, experts in the field did not make an official statement but it is believed that the predator may be a "new" species of the carnivorous Allosaurus. The precious finding was put up for auction at the Eiffel Tower. The lot was auctioned off for more than 2 million euros. It is curious that the name of the buyer was kept a secret. It is only known that the item was purchased by a Frenchman, who collects pieces of contemporary art
