Michel P 260 issued 15 June 1936 for the Olympic Games in Berlin with a CTO “big circle” Olympic Stadium commemorative cancellation dated 1 August 1936 and postally used with a “small circle” Berlin-NW Olympische Spiele slogan cancellation dated 2 August 1936.
Pictured is the Olympic Stadium designed by Werner March, “a unique example of officially commissioned architecture that cannot be faulted aesthetically.”*
