Lot 4613
Aero Club of Augsburg postcard with Balloon illustration on reverse, sent to Melbourne with Arms 20pf tied 'BAEUMENHEIM/19/OCT/10' cds, a couple of corner creases. The only recorded example to Australia, and surely the earliest aerial 'incident' en route to Australia.

Was sold for A$1,700 in 2019.
